Thunderbirds – Cascade Cadets History

Cascade Thunderbird Drum Majors

The Seattle Cascades Drum & Bugle Corps is still chugging along some five-plus decades after Rod Stubbs & Jack Avery formed the corps

in June of 1966.  Amazing.

For additional photos, videos, and history of the 21st Century corps, please see the Seattle Cascades Drum Corps Facebook page and YouTube.

1957 is not correct.  It was a rogue Director’s attempt to show the Cascades history as a direct outgrowth of the Seattle Thunderbirds’ history.  The Cascades were indeed born out of the Thunderbird Cadets, but with a founding date of June 1966
