Some of the recordings on this page are, frankly, not so hot.  The good ones were recorded on reel-to-reel, then transferred to vinyl.  Most were recorded by the parental-units using cassette recorders, played a million times, transferred to CDs about a thousand years later, and then to the MP3 format.  Not what you’d call Hi-Fidelity.  Some of these recordings are of partial shows, some are full shows.

The way we look at it, at least we have something.  It’s not quite like playing an Edison wax cylinder.  Well, almost.

Remember, comparing vintage drum corps musical styles to current styles is futile.  In their time, these styles were the cutting edge.

Enjoy the sounds of long ago.
